In line with our mission to build bridges between generations, and to invest in high level education, we donated this month 350 Euro-worth (1.500 Lei) of school books to a young scholar at the International School Cluj.
Vlad Mureşan (Photo) is a 9th grade student at the International School, a student of excellence, particularly sensitive, who expresses his sensitivity through painting and poetry. He is always active, willing to assume new responsibilities, taking part in all the projects suggested by the International School that require getting involved in the community. Vlad is a good team player, a born leader, being the School Ambassador and the captain of the “Golden Eagles” class. He graduated the academic year of 2010-2011 with a 9.50 grade. Vlad was adopted from the orphanage at the age of 11, and has been living in foster care since that age.
The young fellow student is one of the beneficiary students of the “Frate de carte” scholarship program, a project designed for children who come from an under-privileged urban or rural environment, or for orphan children who are very talented and have a strong motivation to study.
