Cristina-Mihaela Pop is a graduate of both the Faculty of Letters and Business, holding also post-graduate degrees in American Studies, Hotel Management and last but not least, Business Administration. 20 years of professional experience, both in the academia and on the private market sector allows her to cover an extensive range of expertise in the field of business communication and business development.
A good knowledge of both the academic and the business arenas lead to her understanding of the organic-like bond between the two, and give her the possibility of offering consultancy services in her areas of expertise. She is the author of several books on topics related to business communication and management, as well as various researches published in national and international academic journals and the economic press in our country.
The numerous diplomas and certifications obtained by way of participating in different seminars and professional courses, advancement and specialization, all prove her interest in continuous education and research, her desire to stay up-to-date with the novelties in the field. Her professional experience covers 10 years of higher education didactic experience at a prestigious University in the field of Economics, and also the direct relationship with the business field, holding managing positions in business development.
The experience accrued through European programs and projects includes, among others: consulting in the field of professional formation and updating in occupations associated with adult learning, elaborating measures for stimulating labour market coverage, elaborating occupational standards validated by CNFPA, introducing professional qualification in the professional qualification (review) schedule, introducing occupations in COR, quality management, devising business plans for the development of ample real estate projects, or for implementing franchises and last but not least, managing an 11 million euros worth ecology-based project with European financing.
Other relevant aspects are: her lucrative affiliation with the economic press and her excellent aptitudes in representation (PR) or event-organising, both proved as such with numerous occasions. Another advantage is represented by her thorough knowledge of several international languages, among which English holds a professional expert level.
